How much money can I make?
It's totally up to you. You can work as much as you want. Many sellers work on Inkdify full time and some keep their 9-5 job while using Inkdify to make extra money.
How much does it cost to start selling?
It's free to join Inkdify. There is no subscription required or fees to list your services.
How much time will I need to invest?
It's very flexible. You need to put in some time and effort in the beginning to learn the marketplace and then you can decide for yourself what amount of work you want to do.
How is my profit calculated?

On our platform, sellers set a fixed profit (in $) for each product type — not a percentage markup.

When a product is sold, your profit is exactly the amount you’ve set unless a refund or certain discounts apply.

Example:

  • T-shirt: base price = $15, fixed profit = $5 → retail price = $20
  • Sweatshirt: base price = $25, fixed profit = $10 → retail price = $35

When the product sells, you receive your fixed profit ($5 or $10)

If the product is returned or canceled, your profit will be reversed (taken back).

How do discounts affect my profit?

There are two types of discounts:

  • Platform discounts: These are offered by the marketplace. Your profit stays the same — the platform covers the discount.
  • Your own discounts: If you set a discount for your products, the reduced price will lower your profit accordingly.
Do I keep ownership of my art?

Yes. You retain full copyright to your original artwork. By uploading designs to our platform, you only grant us a non-exclusive license to display, print, and sell your products. You can still use your artwork anywhere else, and we will never reuse or resell it without your permission.

What kind of content is allowed?

We allow original, non-infringing artwork that complies with our Community & Content Guidelines. Designs that contain copyrighted material (e.g., movie characters, brand logos), explicit adult content, hate speech, or violent imagery are not allowed. Fan art, political content, or parody should be submitted cautiously and may be subject to removal.

How do I price my service?

When will I get paid?

We will pay your Profit in accordance with the payment method you select on the Marketplace. An order will be marked as Completed 14 days after its Delivered date. Your balance will become available for withdrawal 30 days after the Completed date, or 30 days after a return/refund issue is closed.

An order is considered successfully completed when:
  • The product has been delivered to the customer
  • No return or refund has been requested within the return window
  • The order has passed our fraud and payment verification process
You will receive the total profit from completed orders, minus any:
  • Refunds
  • Order cancellations
  • Adjustments due to discounts

Note: Orders that experience issues (e.g., return, refund, dispute) will have payouts processed only after the case is resolved.

Example: A customer receives a T-shirt but later reports it was the wrong size and requests a return. The payout for this order will only be processed after the return is completed and the issue is resolved.

What if a buyer receives a refund?
If a buyer receives a refund, it means the sale is canceled, and you won’t earn any commission from that transaction.
Can I promote my products outside the marketplace?
Yes! You are encouraged to promote your products on social media and other platforms to drive traffic to your store.
Artist details and the INFORM Act
What is the INFORM Act?

The INFORM Consumers Act is a U.S. law that went into effect on June 27, 2023. It requires online marketplaces to collect, verify, and disclose certain information from high-volume sellers in order to increase transparency and help prevent fraud.

Who does it apply to?

If you're a seller based in the U.S. and meet both of the following:

- You have 200+ transactions in a 12-month period AND

- You earn over $5,000/year on the platform

Then you're considered a high-volume seller under the INFORM Act and must verify your identity.

What do I need to provide?
  • Full name or business name
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Current address (residential or business)
  • Working phone number
  • Taxpayer identification number (TIN or SSN)
Will this be public?

Only partial information (like your business name or state) may be shown to buyers if required. Sensitive data like your ID or TIN will not be made public.

What happens if I don’t comply?

Failure to verify your details when requested may lead to:

  • Account suspension
  • Listing removal
  • Delayed payouts

We’ll notify you in advance and guide you through the verification process.

How can I make sure my design prints well?

Use high-resolution files (minimum 300 DPI) and check each product’s design dimensions in the upload interface. You’ll be able to preview your design on each item before publishing. Stick to safe zones and avoid placing critical details near edges or seams to ensure quality prints.

We use advanced digital printing technology to ensure vibrant colors and crisp details across all fabric types and surfaces. This means your art stays true to your original design — even on complex or multi-layered prints.

Am I responsible for customer complaints?

No. Our Inkdify support team handles all customer service related to shipping, quality issues, returns, and refunds. You won’t need to communicate directly with buyers.
